Fala
Fala is a very sweet, timid 3-year-old common marmoset who arrived here at Jungle Friends on August 11, 2007. Fala, along with two other marmosets, Zima and Mitzi, were retired from a laboratory to Jungle Friends. When Fala was just a year old, she broke her foot, and it never healed correctly. Even so, she is in no pain and can jump around just fine.
At Jungle Friends, Fala slowly came out of her shell and started chattering with the other monkeys around her, especially Chachi. We decided an introduction was in order and things could not have gone better! These two are always on the move and probably the most playful monkeys in ‘Munchkin Land’. They just love to race around their habitat through the trees and shrubs and up in the hammocks. At the end of the day, these two exhausted monkeys curl up together in one of the hammocks for a good night’s sleep.
Read about our S-A-M Program for details on sponsoring Fala or any of our Jungle Friends primates. Or just choose your sponsorship level from these links.
