Mojo Jojo is a common marmoset that arrived at Jungle Friends on December 3, 2005. Mojo was a ‘pet’ who lost his female monkey companion earlier that year. The ‘owners’ realized that humans could not provide the companionship Mojo needed, and through a series of amazing coincidences they found out about Jungle Friends, and how we were in search of a companion for our lone marmoset, Jimisett.

After visiting Jungle Friends, the ‘owners’ knew that Mojo would be very happy here, especially having a companion of his own species. The two marmosets quickly took to each other, and slept curled together on their very first night. The pair has moved into our new ‘Marmoset Village’, a spacious octagon habitat filled with branches and plants, connected to an indoor enclosure where they can seek shelter from rain, winter cold or summer heat.
