"Student reactions to EARTHLINGS screening at Jungle Friends."
The Alternative Spring Break Volunteers from University of Illinois at Chicago volunteered at Jungle Friends on December 14-17, 2009. The student volunteers enjoyed great vegan meals sponsored by Jungle Friends and VegFund. The students especially appreciated that the food was vegan after they joined us for 'Movie Night' and watched EARTHLINGS. See the reactions of the ASB students after watching EARTHLINGS. (01:25)

"Monkey Biz in Las Vegas!"
Monkey Art Exhibit and Fundraiser was in Las Vegas, NV September 25th and 26th 2009 at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino. In the Las Vegas tradition, we had exciting entertainers Friday evening and on Saturday the Monkey Art Exhibit was open to the public.

We had beautifully painted masterpieces of the primate persuasion, monkey merchandise, raffles and silent auctions throughout the event.

The "Monkey Shines" cocktail party was followed by a scrumptious vegan dinner where Kari Bagnall, founder of Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary, gave a PowerPoint Presentation about the monkeys who call Jungle Friends home. After dinner everyone monkeyed around with us at the "The Banana Split" party!(07:04)

"The Hundredth Monkey"
A beautiful song and video written and produced by Jungle Friends volunteers, honoring the sanctuary's work on behalf of all captive non-human primates. You will love the song and will fall in love with the monkeys!

"Born to Be Wild"
Take an inside look at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary in Florida. Jungle Friends is home to former "pet" monkeys as well as monkeys that came from the entertainment industry and research laboratories.

"Kari's PowerPoint Presentation about Jungle Friends"
In this presentation Kari gives an overview of Jungle Friends - how the monkeys ended up at the sanctuary, what we do for the monkeys who call Jungle Friends home, our mission, philosophies and goals for the future. Part 1 (09:55) Part 2 (09:57)

"Starting and Running a Sanctuary"

"Animal Rights Conference 2009"
We created an 18-minute video of AR2009 to give those of you who could not attend a sense of the conference and for those of you who were there, maybe you will see yourselves! The video also includes one of Kari's presentations from the conference. We hope to see some of you at the next Animal Rights Conference! And if you are ever in Florida, please stop by for a visit, but beware, we will put you to work! Part 1 (08:39) Part 2 (09:58)
