On March 9, 2017, Manny, Moe and Jack were retired from the CDC after years in malaria research. Before arriving at Jungle Friends, these boys had never seen the outside world. Once they reached the sanctuary, everything changed — caregivers introduced them to fresh foods, colorful toys, and lush plants to explore and enjoy. It’s been a joy watching their curiosity bloom as they discover what freedom feels like.
