The weekend of February 28 and March 1, thirty-eight monkeys received full dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, extractions, and bloodwork. Every single monkey recovered beautifully and returned safely to their habitats. The Dental Coalition for Conservation team is simply extraordinary. These dedicated professionals volunteer their personal time to travel to sanctuaries like ours, donating their expertise so animals don’t suffer in silence from painful dental disease or hidden health issues. We are deeply grateful for their compassion, skill, and generous hearts. And our own team? Absolutely amazing. Staff and volunteers stepped up, stayed late, worked seamlessly together, and ensured this complex operation ran smoothly from start to finish.
